Guelph Airport CNC4

The Guelph Airport, with the identifier CNC4, is commonly referred to as the “Guelph Airpark.” It is a small general aviation airport located in Guelph, Ontario, Canada. The airpark features two runways: Runway 14/32 and Runway 06/24.

The designations “14/32” and “06/24” indicate the magnetic headings of the runways. Magnetic headings are based on the direction of the Earth’s magnetic field and are used to identify the orientation of a runway. For example, Runway 14/32 means that the runway is aligned with a magnetic heading of approximately 140 degrees in one direction and 320 degrees in the opposite direction.

These two runways at Guelph Airpark provide options for aircraft to take off and land in different wind conditions. Pilots choose the runway that aligns most closely with the prevailing wind direction to maximize safety and efficiency during takeoff and landing.
