We had an absolutely fantastic evening at the Flamborough Airfield BBQ fly-in, expertly hosted by Scott Knowlton. Friends joined us from both the skies and the ground, coming together on this beautiful evening.
It was a true delight to witness an array of homebased aircraft including two Pietenpol, Great Lakes 2T-1A1, Baby Ace, Powell P-70 Acey Deucy, and Spectrum Beaver. Adding to the excitement, we were graced with the presence of visitor aircraft such as the Fleet Finch, Zenith STOL CH 701, Cessnas, Pipers, and a special treat for the night – the Boeing-Stearman out of Burlington. Our joy knew no bounds as not only did we have the chance to marvel at them on the ground, but several of these aircraft also graced the skies throughout the entire evening. Anticipation fills the air for our upcoming gatherings; we simply can’t wait for the next one.
