In conjunction with the Royal Canadian Air Force’s centennial anniversary, the 420 Wing Oshawa Inc. organized a gala under the theme Raise the 420 Wing. This event was not only a celebration but also a fundraiser aimed at gathering resources for essential repairs to their historic Second World War building, located in Oshawa’s conservation district, home to the Ontario Regiment Museum.
The 420 Wing was founded with the purpose of uniting past and present members of His Majesty’s Air Forces residing in the Durham area. Beyond this, the Wing extends its support and encouragement to the Royal Canadian Air Cadet Squadrons and individuals engaged in various facets of aviation. The Wing collaborates with other Wings and Veterans Groups that share a common objective, addressing both practical and social matters.
