On Saturday, April 27, the Canadian Harvard Aircraft Association (CHAA) hosted their annual Banquet and Fund-raising Auction at the Royal Canadian Legion Branch 153 in Tillsonburg. The event commenced with Chairman and host Pat Hanna introducing the CHAA board of directors, followed by warm greetings from Tillsonburg Mayor Deb Gilvesy.
CHAA President Walt Irie shared insights about the organization and their exciting future plans. The evening was further enriched by the presence of CAF Public Affairs Officer Major Indira Thackorie, who eloquently spoke about her experiences in the Canadian military, her travels, missions, and aspirations.
Many of the organization members were acknowledged for their dedication, hard work, and years of unwavering support to the CHAA family. Their contributions have been invaluable, and we deeply appreciate their commitment.
A heartfelt thank you goes out to the Tillsonburg Legion Ladies Auxiliary for providing an amazing dinner buffet during this memorable occasion.
