On a beautiful sunny afternoon of Sunday, April 14th, the Brampton Flight Centre (BFC) held their annual Wings Banquet. The event took place at the Royal Ambassador Banquet, nestled in the greenhouse with a stunning view of Innis Lake.
The banquet was a grand celebration of the accomplishments of BFC’s students. Over a hundred individuals graduated in the year 2023, and close to forty of these graduates attended the event, accompanied by their proud families and friends.
The day commenced with a stirring bagpipe introduction by BFC Flight Instructor, Joe Thompson. Leading the way into the hall, he was closely followed by the Master of Ceremonies, Jacquie Perrin, and Allan Paige, the General Manager of BFC. Their entrance set the tone for an afternoon of recognition and celebration.
The guest speaker for the event was Nicholas Mills, a proud BFC alumnus. He shared his experiences and achievements, inspiring the graduates and guests alike. His words served as a testament to the opportunities and success that await BFC’s graduates in their future endeavors.
The highlight of the event was the presentation of Wings and Certificates, College and IATPL Diplomas, and Awards. Each graduate was recognized for their hard work and dedication, marking the culmination of their journey at BFC.
Adding to the excitement, door prizes were awarded, bringing smiles to the faces of the lucky winners.
We extend our heartfelt congratulations to all BFC’s graduates and look forward to their future successes in the world of aviation!
