Northern Regional Fly-In – Huronia Municipal Airport

On Saturday, July 13th, the Huronia Municipal Airport buzzed with excitement and activity as it hosted the Annual Northern Regional Fly-In. Running from 10am to 2pm, the event offered free admission and parking, making it an accessible and inviting gathering for aviation enthusiasts and families alike.

The Fly-In was a resounding success, featuring over 50 aircraft that ranged from classic and modern planes to homebuilt and ultralight aircraft. The sight of these diverse flying machines was complemented by an impressive display of 75 vintage cars, drawing admirers from all walks of life. The airfield was alive with the hum of engines and the awe of spectators, creating a vibrant and memorable atmosphere.

Attendees had the chance to enjoy a variety of activities and attractions. BBQ and drinks were available for purchase. The large crowds were a clear indicator of the event’s popularity and the enjoyment it brought to those present.
