Sunday, April 27, was a day of wonder and adventure at Oshawa Executive Airport, where Girls Take Flight Oshawa welcomed girls and women aged eight and older for an introduction to aviation. Hosted by the First Canadian Chapter of the Ninety-Nines and Durham Flight Centre, the event aimed to inspire participants to consider careers in aviation and aerospace.

The weather brought sunny skies and gusty winds, setting the stage for 122 attendees to take their first-ever flight in a small aircraft. They returned with wide smiles and bright eyes, eager to share how much they enjoyed the unique experience.
